Acreage Septic is a referral service — connecting you with local contractors at no cost to you.
Sewage coming back up through the lowest drains in the house is the system telling you it has nowhere left to send waste. It’s the one symptom you should never sit on.
Usually one of three things: the tank is simply full, there’s a blockage between the house and tank, or the drainfield has failed and effluent has nowhere to go. A pump-out and a look will tell you which.
Stop using water immediately and keep clear of the backup. The longer the system keeps receiving flow, the worse it gets. Call for a same-day pump-out and diagnosis.
